I **LOVE** this. I love soup. I love eating non-breakfast foods for breakfast (breakfast salad, anyone?). AND I’m pretty sure I’ve also had tomato soup for breakfast once or twice.

So yes to all of it.

Honestly, I never could stomach breakfast at 6 am, which led to my poor eating choices. There is something beautiful in the breakfast ritual, whether it's tomato soup in a mug or a slow and mindful repast of cereal and protein with mint tea. Beautiful writing!

I definitely agree. I don't tend to eat breakfast, but my routines are off. I've gotten some good rest, and I feel rejuvenated, but I also feel a bit dysregulated. So I get it. 💜
